Swift Electrical Supplies
Cookies & browser storage
We use browser storage for your basket, projects and preferences. Our own aggregate website statistics help us improve product search. We do not use advertising trackers or visitor identification cookies.
What the site stores
- Your basket and quantities.
- Saved control-panel and installation projects.
- Your motion preference.
- Your choice about website statistics. This does not identify you.
- A session marker so the same news introduction is not repeatedly shown.
Why it is used
These records let the basket, builders and display preferences work without an account. They do not give Swift access to other files or information on your device.
Your controls
You can remove this information using your browser’s controls for site data or local storage. Clearing it will also clear the basket and any project saved only in that browser.
Website statistics & your choice
We count page views, approximate visit starts, product searches, searches without matches, basket additions, sourcing forms opened and enquiry responses accepted by our website service. Reports contain daily totals and popular pages or search terms, not individual browsing histories.
We do not store visitor IDs, analytics cookies, IP addresses or user-agent strings in these reports. Search terms are filtered to exclude obvious email addresses, telephone numbers and long free text. Form contents, contact details, saved projects and basket contents are not included. Short-lived hashed network counters may be used separately to limit automated abuse.
Visit starts are an estimate based on direct or external arrivals. They are not a count of unique people. Known automated traffic and private previews are excluded where detectable. Aggregate daily reports are retained for up to 400 days. A confirmed enquiry response means the website service accepted the request; it does not prove that an email was read.
You can change this choice here at any time. Switching statistics off does not change your basket or saved projects. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals are respected.
External services
Following a link to a manufacturer datasheet, directions or another external website may allow that service to use cookies under its own policy.
